Zoya Charla dupe by Essence

Ok, maybe I’m way behind, or maybe nobody has ever noted it, or maybe you did but I missed the post?!

I just found an 99% exact Zoya Charla dupe by the ever so great budget brand Essence. The polish is called Choose me! (I choose YOU! Essence!..sigh %$#* Pokemon)

Look at my pictures and be your own judge:

And another picture where I added some contrast for you to see the bling bling:

OR I’m going crazy, OR this is the closest (and cheapest for that matter) match to Zoya’s Charla. I don’t own OPI’s Catch me in your net which is supposed to be a very clos match to Charla as well. What do you think? And did you know about this Essence polish yet?

Pink curtains

Yayyyy, I’ve found the time to make a mani for tomorrow

Hate this busy life, combined with stress from work, oh and the absolutely shitty weather here in The Netherlands. It’s just aweful. Do you know the feeling of dressing nicely, make-up ready and hair done..you step outside..it rains..and then half an hour later you arrive at work looking like #$%&*. AAARGH!

Today I bought a cute pink vest since it’s actually cold here. Pink is usually not my color but since I got pink clothing now anyway, I figured I might as well do a pink mani! I decided to use the m62 curtain-design with Konad Special polish in Psyche Pink. I started with Catrice’s French Manicure polish in 120 French rose to hide stains and my yellow’ish tips

I added a few nailstickers from the new 05 Sweet Romance piece from Essence. Annnnddddd, that’s about it! Seche topcoat and we are ready to go :-) Don’t you just love simple mani’s every now and then?

Light As Air

Helleuuuw

Today I want to show you a konadicure made with one of my newer imageplates. The s6. I’m really in love with these designs. It has a celtic feel to it, don’t you think? So cool!

I was wearing my purple’ish dress and wanted a purple mani..sigh..girls uh ;-) So, I came up with this combination; CG Light as air with Konad Special Polish in Violet Pearl. I think they fit really well with eachother. I might actually use this combi more often!

Now I’m gonna think about a more creative mani 8-)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Oriental Red

I’ve been looking for cute decals for a while now ever since I’ve used the water decals from Viva La Nails. I was really impressed at how easy to use they are and how easy it can be to create a cute but simple mani.

This time I went to experiment a bit with a oriental mani :-)
I used another Joe polish called Tomato, a very bright red. The decals are from Ebay and I used my Essence Nail Art Pen for the stripes and dots. The white polish is the ever so great OPI Alpine Snow.

I only had this manicure on for a few hours, didn’t really like it all that much, but hey, gotta try different things every now and then right?

Purple Gradient

You know how it goes… You have this manicure.. you have been wearing it all day.. but it’s a bit boring. You can’t be bothered to put a new one up but want to change it a bit. Solution: layering!

I’ve been seeing these beautiful gradients around the interwebs and thought it was time for my very first gradient manicure! Look at this boring mani:

I used a lot of products. I started with a polish from a local drug store (for the dutchies: Etos) and its called Etos Effect Nails with number 22. On top I put a glitter topcoat from a (to me) unknown brand from the local market; Paris Memories. When layering I used Gosh Wild Lilac from the tip to halfway my nail. Without even letting it dry I then put a darker polish from a brand named Joe (thnx Skulda!) on the upper half of the Wild Lilac. Finish it all with some glitter from Etos Effect Nails 05-06 and voila……. Gradient nails!

Ps: a normal kitchen sponge is more than enough to make a gradient!
