Rather late than never right? This is my shout out to the world for raising breastcancer awareness. I think we all have someone in our family or close to us that has suffered or is suffering from breastcancer. Actually, worldwide breast cancer comprises 10.4% of all cancer incidence among women, making it the most common type of non-skin cancer in women and the fifth most common cause of cancer death. I chose to make a pro-life mani with this pink blingy pulse design! Drawing the lines was a pita since I still don’t have proper nailart pencils. Does anyone have a recommendation for me perhaps? Turns out Ebay isn’t always your best friend, hihi. The ring was from the same store as the ring I showed before, because this is sterling silver it was 14,95 EUR. Still cheap right?! <3

Halloween nails pt 6: Pumpkins
Hi all!
First of all I want to thank everyone thas is participating in my giveaway so far, I’ve been getting very nice and cute ideas for mani’s you would like me to do on Pimp My Nailz. Funny, like 60% of you all said the same thing.. PUMPKINS! So, my dear readers, that’s what you’re getting tonight!
I’ve been using my stripers from ebay and my new cheapass nailart pencils, I really need to get used to using those but I think I’m starting to get the hang of it. This design is easy but not so fast because of the lines. To add a little bit of dept in the pumpkin I decided to make a white line next to the black one. The orange is the awesome almost one-coater Catrice MAN, GO Tango.

Halloween special: Nightmare before Christmas
Did you really think I would make all kinds of Halloween mani’s and not include our beloved Jack Skellington?! I have been collecting statues and all kind of merchandise of Nightmare before Christmas since the first time I saw the movie. I’m basically a fan of whatever Tim Burton makes, he is my hero. What a fun, creative and spooky mind!
I am going to wear this mani @ Halloween for sure! The grey base color is Catrice’s London’s Weather Forecast which is a great soft creamy grey with a very slight shimmer, uber pretty. Jack, the hill and moon, and the houses were made with alllllllllllllllllllll of the following products: tootpick, dottingtool, stripers *evil grin* The yellow I used is actually a polish I have never used before; Catrice’s Don’t Feed The Birds. A lovely, slightly sheer yellow with a pretty yellow shimmer.

Halloween nails pt 4: Mummies
Hi again!
This Halloween theme is driving me nuts,in the good way! So many ideas and so little time, ugh. This must be the easiest mani ever!! Everyone can do this and I encourage you to do so and see for yourself. OPI Alpine Snow is a great bright white which applies very well. I used two coats and it was complete even and opaque, great. I combined the Konad Special polish in black with the S6 imageplate from Konad. I absolutely love this plate. It has celtic-like design which I adore! With the tip of my black striper (or just use a pen/toothpick/dottingtool) I created the eyes. And guess what.. that’s all!!!

Halloween nails pt 3: Frankensteins
GREEN GOODNESS!
That’s one way of describing these Frankensteins..! This is the third design I’m making for Halloween 2010. I was inspired by a YouTube movie which I just couldn’t resist. The green/lime base I used is the new Essence Colour & Go Lime Up! I only needed one coat for this polish to be opaque and the drying time was quite fast. I used a black striper for the hair, lips and stitches. The eyes were made with a dottingtool dipped in Konad Special White. Check it out!
Excuse the un-polished thumb! This was before I finished both hands. My ritual is to always show my ‘to-be-posted’ mani’s to a good friend first & he tells me his honest opinion. Luckily for me, he liked it haha. I’m wondering if you show your creations to someone close to you as well before posting it on the interwebs! Let me know, I’m curious

Shooting stars
Helleeeuuuu!
I was sooooo not in the mood to do something extraordinary with my nails but hey, I’m not going out the door without SOMETHING on my nails I decided to use my Essence Silver Surfer striper which I had never used before. Being in an Essence mood I used little stars from the nailart jars they sell. They are small (sharp! ouch) and reflective and I figured they could be great shooting stars. I added some glittertopcoat to ‘seal the deal’ and we were off to work!
This was pretty easy to do. Ofcourse a littttttle hard to make perfect stripes on the right hand but hey, same shit different story
