Mayo Madness
Today I received my Manglaze order. I bought the white matte Mayonnaise and the grey matte Fuggen Ugly. I had to put Mayo on first cause I have been craving this polish since the release. Mayonnaise is a beautiful white nailpolish with a matte finish. If you look closely enough (read: really really close) you can see a light pearly shimmer, so pretty. Take a look for yourself cause in this case; pics say more than words..
How amazing is that?! I wanted to see how my Konad special polish in Pink would look on this bright white. I used one of the floral designs from plate m31 and added some pink rhinestones. Simple and fast mani! Try it yourself with these or different colors!
Do you like it? Cause I do! I’ll be wearing Manglaze Mayonnaise a lot, it looks gorgeous on it’s own and is amazing as stamping base. Keep up the great work Marc. Your inventions make us all very happy! I’m heading out to the cinema for Paranormal Activity 2 in a bit, curious if it can live up to my expectations

Essence Matt(e) Top coat
And there we have another cheap innovation from the German budget brand Essence. I think we all have one ; a matte topcoat. Whether it’s from Essie, OPI, Orly of Manglaze, a matte is a must-have!
Their new polish is called Matt Top Coat and is EUR 1,79 in your local drugstore. The only matte top coat I own is the Essie Matte About You, which I love. Time for a comparison don’t you think?
I wanted to do this comparison together with a swatch of 2 of the new Essence polishes from the Denim Wanted collection: 04 Forever Mine (light blue) and 03 My Boyfriend’s Jeans (darker blue).

And this is the result:
Ofcourse a picture never shows the 100% real view but I think this Essence Matt Top Coat has the same result as Essie Matte About You. I honestly don’t see a difference! This means that for about 2 dollars you can have a nice dupe of a more expensive polish like Essie or OPI etc. Nice ain’t it?

Last night I have been busy with making two entries for the Betsey Johnson’s fashion challenge of Polish Hoarder Disorder. Today I want to show you one of them.

First of all..
WOW I HAVE 100 FOLLOWERS! Thanks to you all for the sweet comments, mails and participating in my giveaway. I think it’s so awesome that people from all over the world are actually interested in my nails..weird though!
So todays look is actually inspired by a cool chick: Lady Gaga.
Wether you like her music or not, she’s got attitude! I like that.
I really wanted to do a remake of her blingy nails and I figured today was the perfect day! It’s late at night here at the moment so as soon as I will wake up I will make more clear pictures instead of these ‘nightstandlightpics’.
